FOOD MATCHING NOTE:

Walnuts are an excellent accompaniment to Vintage Port, as are blue veined and other richly flavoured cheeses. So too are dried fruits such as apricots or ‑ figs.

TASTING NOTE:

Deep inky ruby with a broad red rim. Generous and seductive nose redolent of blackcurrant, cherry and ground coffee. e full round palate is supported by thick well integrated tannins and delivers an abundance of luscious chocolate and blackcurrant flavour which lingers into the long velvety ‑ nish. A wine poised between youth and maturity.
