FOOD MATCHING NOTE:
Perfect with a big Veal chop or good buttery egg pasta with shaved black truffle. Also works well with particularly rich fish dishes such as roast turbot.
Typical Nebbiolo burnt sunset colour. Ripe meaty nose with hints of dried figs, leather, spice and generous ripe berry aromas. Rich plummy fruit, warm and spicy with herbal notes on the palate, good tannic structure and a level of acidity which means that, whilst drinking now, this wine will age and improve for many years.
