FOOD MATCHING NOTE:

This rich but non-aggressive wine is a good all-rounder. Try with full-bodied pasta dishes, hard, full-flavoured cheeses, or even roasted meats such as wild boar.

TASTING NOTE:

A deep, ruby-red wine with an exceptionally elegant bouquet, reflecting the ideal interplay of Nebbiolo and Dolcetto (the former's finesse, the latter's volume). Notes of blueberries, plums and cherry with hints of dried herbs and sun baked earth. On the palate the wine reveals rich, sweet, plummy fruit alongside cherry and fresh redcurrants. There are also hints of spice, coffee, bitter chocolate and some complex savoury notes. A beautifully balanced wine.
