A big, bold and magnificent wine. Aromas of blackcurrant, rich ripe blackberries, with layers of decadent vanilla. The palate is silky with rich, sweet black fruits, countered with hints of black olive, Christmas cake and chocolate. Some more dusty notes and freshly cut young wood, together with grippy tannins help to add complexity and balance to this succulent wine.
