2010 Organic Merlot, Soleus
FOOD MATCHING NOTE:
Veal, lamb or beef stews, roast lamb, duck as well
as fish like salmon and tuna and cheeses.
Deep ruby red in colour with a youthful bright rim.
The nose is aromatic and fruit driven, displaying
ripe plum and red-berry fruit with an undertone of
forest floor. The palate is medium bodied, finely
structured and fruit driven, with blackberry and
morello cherry flavours, wood spice and a hint of
vanilla on the complex, lengthy finish.
