TASTING NOTE: 

  A wine of intense aromatic complexity, Escudo Rojo has a well balanced structure and a long, lingering finish with plenty of ageing potential. Deep ruby with complex black cherry and blackcurrant aromas on the nose. Fresh plum and liquorice flavors mingle with smooth mature tannins to express the distinctive character of the region. The finish strikes a fine balance between freshness, elegance and depth.
