The 2011 Solengo shows the pedigree of this great vintage. Violets, tar, smoke, licorice and plums burst from the glass. Vibrantly nuanced and beautifully articulated the 2011 impresses for its striking balance and refined, sophisticated personality. This is one of the very best Solengos I can remember tasting. The style is rich and highly expressive, but with no excess weight.
