TASTING NOTE:

This is a very pretty colour, a shimmering bright ruby. Given the frost issue, there is very little Côte de Beaune here, the grapes largely having been sourced from Gevrey-Chambertin, NuitsSaint-Georges, Morey-Saint-Denis, Chambolle-Musigny, Vougeot and Vosne-Romanée. Cherries and berries come through on the nose, rich, ripe and intense. The palate is superbly concentrated, silk-textured with attractive strength and balance through to a protracted poised finish – impressive.
