This fantastically well balanced and complex wine would be a great accompaniment with coq au vin where the sauce is made with pinot noir, glazed ham, roast turkey, Brie and similar cheeses or milder blue cheeses such as Gorgonzola dolce.

TASTING NOTE:

On the nose it has nice mushroom tones and along with mild leather and a hint of vanilla. Long finish. Good, well-balanced wine.
