FOOD MATCHING NOTE:

Ideally you drink such a red Mâcon young and at a degree or 14 to 16. Delicious for lunch or drinks. It has an up-and-down fruity character, which makes it ideal for an andouillette (tasty sausage) or goat's cheese, also from the Mâcon. Or else with a piece of lighter meat with a red fruit sauce.

TASTING NOTE:

Striking cherry red in colour. With a redfruity scent characteristic of mâcon rouge: raspberries, cherries and currants. The wine drinks smoothly, is well balanced and has an elegant, fresh aftertaste.
