There is a constant breeze from offshore, combining with cold nights to preserve acidity, and stony limestone-rich soils give a cooling minerality and balance to the Cabernet Sauvignon/ Cabernet Franc mix. The wine is full of energy, densely woven and balanced, packed with black fruit, floral and herbal notes, and a long fine powerful finish. It is lovely now but has a great future
