The 2020 Mourvèdre Old Garden, from a vineyard planted in 1853, is a fantastic rendition of this label, hearty and powerful, yet highly complex. It explodes with dense aromas ranging from blackberry and chocolate to animal skins and spices - a beautiful mix of sweet and savoury. It is monolithic with dense tannins and acidity underpinning powerful, brooding spicy, dark fruits with a lining of dried lavender and excellent length to finish. This is built to last.
