TASTING NOTE: 

The 2020 Pinot Noir is exceptionally complex and multi-layered on the nose. Its aromas range from dark chocolate and Earl Grey tea to eucalyptus and light hints of incense. Its fruit is reminiscent of blackberries, sweet raspberries, but also elderberries, black cherries and pickled plums. There is also damp tobacco and an enormous spiciness reminiscent of nutmeg, pepper and liquorice.

On the palate, sweet cherries, plums, as well as red and black berries such as currants and cassis show.  It also shows vegetal notes of green asparagus and artichoke. The spiciness is found again on the palate: nutmeg and black pepper are joined by clove. In addition, a slight saltiness brings enormous tension to the palate. The acidity is wonderfully integrated and rounded off by a velvety, fine tannin.
