TASTING NOTE:

In 2011, the vines here were 40 years old on average. Les Aigrots lies towards Pommard and offers a variety of terroir, part predisposed to favour Chardonnay, part Pinot Noir. The nose here is rather beguiling, initially reminiscent of crumbled langue de chat biscuits before revealing a citrus and orchard fruit profile, melon and crushed stone minerals. Very approachable and complete on the palate, enriched by 10% new oak
