The contrast between savoury and sweetness makes it suitable for matching with simple dishes such as a warm seafood salad as well as with more complex ones like a spicy Asian dish with sweet sour sauce. It can be matched with appetisers of Mediterranean cooking and with vegetarian cookery.

TASTING NOTE:

This Sancere is bright and pale golden in colour. It has a citrus nose with herbaceous notes of hay and nettle. Richly textured but with crisp acidity on the palate and textbook minerality. The finish is elegant with the typical purity and refreshment of excellent Sancerre.
