Light mahogany in colour with an orange rim. Fresh, elegant nose showing floral notes, woodland berries, sour cherry, dried orange peel and clove. The palate is layered with bright red fruit and darker spices of cigar box, cocoa and burnt coal. A fine wine, elegantly balanced with great length, complexity and good ageing potential. Ideal with richly seasoned meats (red or white) or mature cheeses.
