Barolo DOCG, ASCHERI, 75cl

Brilliant intense garnet colour. The wine displays the characteristic, ethereal and intense bouquet with notes reminiscent of violets and ripe fruit. Full-bodied, soft, velvety and persistent palate, in some ways austere but harmonious and pleasant at the same time. It is excellent with full flavoured dishes; it will go well with roasted red meats, such as: beef stew, curry, grilled lamb chops with spicy mango sauce or pan-seared venison with rosemary and dried cherries.
