šŸ· Castello di Fonterutoli – Concerto
Italy | Tuscany | Toscana IGT | Sangiovese & Cabernet Sauvignon
Style: Still Red Wine
Winemaking: A pioneering Super Tuscan first released in 1981, Concerto is crafted from selected parcels of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon. Fermented in temperature-controlled tanks, then aged in French oak barrels to build structure, depth, and ageing potential.
Farming: From hillside vineyards around Castellina in Chianti, where galestro and limestone soils, high elevations, and meticulous vineyard management produce wines of precision and power.

šŸŽ¶ A harmonious blend of tradition and innovation—bold, elegant, and unmistakably Tuscan.

šŸ‘ In the Glass:
Deep ruby with garnet highlights—refined and commanding.

šŸ‘ƒ On the Nose:
Complex and intense. Aromas of black cherry, cassis, and violet mingle with notes of cedar, graphite, tobacco, and dark chocolate—layered and expressive.

šŸ‘… On the Palate:
Powerful yet polished. Ripe dark fruit is wrapped in fine-grained tannins, with savoury spice, balsamic hints, and a mineral backbone. Structured and concentrated, with a long, elegant finish marked by finesse and freshness.

šŸ½ Food Pairing:
Perfect with bistecca alla Fiorentina, truffle-infused pasta, wild boar ragù, or aged Tuscan pecorino. A wine made for fine dining and special occasions.

ā³ Ageing Potential:
Cellar confidently for 10–15 years or more—this wine will evolve beautifully with time.

✨ Why You’ll Love It:
Concerto is a Tuscan icon—deeply rooted in Chianti heritage, yet boldly modern. A masterful blend of Sangiovese soul and Cabernet structure, offering elegance, depth, and enduring appeal.
