Made by Bob?s wife, Louisa, under the Verdad label, this is classic Paso Robles Cabernet: forward and ripe, but lifted. It is medium-to-full-bodied, with lovely balance and freshness, with cassis and ripe plum fruit framed by savoury notes, with hints of cigar box and spice. Irresistible now but will keep and develop for many years to come
