M. Chapoutier, Chante-Alouette, 6x75cl

Made from 100% Marsanne, this white wine is classified as AOC Hermitage and comes from grapes from 3 different wines. The "Méal" consists of an ancient floor with many pebbles. The "Walls" refer to the location of granite arena floors and "Sing-Alouette" is based on a clay-limestone layer. After ripe hand harvests and pressuring, 1/3 of the wine is vinified in half muids and the rest, in tanks. At the eye, its dress is a beautiful green gold, shiny. Its complex, subtle nose distills aromas of coing, nuts, honey, ginger, acacia and linden. The mouth is frank and elegant with a fresh almond flavour finish. Taste on shells or white flesh fish.
