Style: Full-Bodied Red Wine
Winemaking: A nod to Côte-Rôtie, this iconic blend co-ferments Shiraz with Viognier to elevate aroma and elegance. Aged for 20 months in seasoned French oak barrels previously used for Torbreck’s “RunRig,” lending extraordinary depth.
Farming: From old-vine Shiraz, dry-farmed and low-yielding—true Barossa heritage.

🔥 A sumptuous and perfumed powerhouse—where Barossa boldness meets Rhône-inspired finesse.

👁 In the Glass:
Deep purple with an almost opaque core and vivid violet rim.

👃 On the Nose:
Lush and exotic. Aromas of blackberry, plum compote, black olive and star anise swirl with lifted florals from the Viognier—think violets and apricot blossom—wrapped in notes of graphite and dark chocolate.

👅 On the Palate:
Rich and velvet-textured with a spine of polished tannins. Black fruits dominate, with sweet spice, licorice, roasted meat and espresso unfolding in layers. The Viognier adds brightness and a glycerol glide, while the finish is long, complex and savoury.

Pair with herb-crusted lamb, venison, or grilled aubergine with za'atar. Also shines with smoky BBQ or aged Manchego.
