Tasting Notes: A medium-bodied Pinot Noir (or Sp?tburgunder in German) with balanced flavours of cherry, vanilla and caramel, and smooth and subtle nuances on the elegant finish. History : This estate was officially founded in 1959 when Walter and Gerlinde Schwarztrauber decided to convert their farm into a winery. Their son Gerhard encouraged their conversion to organic and they joined the Bioland Association in Germany in 1986. Regional Information From the heart of the Palatinate, where the climate is cool and vines grow on sandy soils at 125m above sea level.
